💬 lt has been said that technology creates more problems than it solves and may threaten or damage the quality of life. Is this statement reasonable? What problems does technology bring us? Use specific examples in your answer, please.

When talking about technology, many people think of its drawbacks. It may threaten or damage the quality of life, such as excessive screen time, privacy concerns, cyber fraud and so on.
But we must see that every technology has two sides, the good side of which should not be ignored. Take nuclear technology for example. On one hand, its introduction caused global security crisis. We all know the history when nuclear weapons were abused by some countries for military uses. People as well as environments suffered from the disasters. On the other hand, however, nuclear technology is also used for energy production, regarded a new type of clean energy. In addition, MRI is widely used in clinical examinations.
It’s hard to say whether nuclear technology causes more problems or benefits. The same goes for other technologies. It depends on how we use them. Instead of considering technology as monsters and preventing it from improving, we’d better update laws and make promises to use it in a good way for the well-being of humankind. Thank you!
